Presets The below table has both Print Domain Flattener presets and PDF Export presets for you to download. Use these settings when creating your files and this will help eliminate incorrect PDF settings.
WHICH PRESET TO USE: Be sure to choose the correct preset for your Operating system (e.g. PC or Mac) and your application and it's version (e.g. Illustrator CS1).
HOW TO CHECK YOUR VERSION: If you are unsure which version you have you can check by:
1) Opening/starting your application
2) Click on the application name in the top menu bar e.g. Illustrator > About Illustrator
3) A window will pop up containing a version number as well as the applications name e.g. Adobe Illustrator CS
NOTE: (CS stands for Creative Suite and is the same as CS1
HOW TO DOWNLOAD YOUR PRESET: Right click (PC) or control + Click (Mac) the correct link from the table below then view the Loading Presets tutorial for instructions on loading the preset.
NOTE TO PHOTOSHOP CS1 USERS: Photoshop CS 1 does not support presets so if you Left Click the link in the table below you will be go to our tutorial on how to prepare and save your photoshop file for printing.
